Inspired by all things Gremlin like, new brand Riziliant came across my work on Instagram and reached out. They hoped I would help them create a design that would garner some attention and bring in some sales for the line. Since the design would be B&W it was important to make sure the illustration was eye catching to the viewer and on trend. In the beginning sketches were created for reference before I began the vectoring process. Once those were approved, I moved into the program. I improvised where I saw fit, this is a process I do on every project. My attempt was to create a design that was reminiscent of early 80’s skate graphics that were cool yet edgy.
