A DJ approached me via Instagram in reference to creating a mascot to help promote his brand. Working in the over saturated Hip-Hop mixtape market, he was adamant about separating himself from the rest. He expressed to me that he wanted the character to be a bit of a parody of him; but at the same time be professional. The end result was something visually appealing and also relatable to his target demographic.
